Product Introduction
The formal name of blind flange is flange cover, and some are also called blind flange. It is a flange without holes in the middle and can be used to plug the pipe orifice. The function is the same as that of the head and pipe cap, except that the blind seal is a removable sealing device, and the head seal is not ready to be opened again. Common materials of sealing surface include carbon steel and stainless steel.
Pressure rating: Class150, Class300, Class600, Class900
Sealing surface form: raised face (RF), concave face (FM), convex face (M), tenon face (T), groove face (G), full face (FF).
Advantages
1. Due to the diversity of the sealing faces of the flange cover, the appropriate sealing face type can be selected according to the requirements of the pipeline.
2. The pressure rating of the flange cover is higher than that of the head, and it can ensure that the tightness of the pipeline will not leak.
3. Because the flange cover and flange are connected by bolts, it can be easily disassembled, so it plays a very convenient role in detecting and cleaning the pipe fittings and greatly improves the efficiency.
