The deformation area is in a two-way tensile stress state (the stress in the plate thickness direction is ignored). The deformation area will change under the effect of tensile stress, which is the same as bulging For inner hole flanging of non-circular holes, the stress and strain distribution along the flanging line in the deformation area is uneven. Under the same flanging height, the tangential tensile stress and tangential elongation deformation are larger at the position with smaller curvature radius; The tangential tensile stress and elongation deformation are smaller in the area with larger curvature radius. Stub end is used together with lap joint flange. The wall thickness of stub end complies with that of the steel pipe. With the existance of stub end, the lap joint flange can be roated when coonecting with the other pipeline flange. Flanged movable flange is also called loose flange and rotating flange. It is generally used in combination with flanging pipe joint. The pipe is connected with the flanging pipe joint by butt welding, and the flange is sleeved outside the flanging pipe joint. Its advantages are that the flange can be rotated, and it is easy to align with the bolt hole. It is used in the places where the large pipe diameter is easy to install. The flanged flange is also suitable for the places where the pipe fittings need to be frequently disassembled for cleaning and inspection, or where it is only necessary to rotate the flange without rotating the pipe when aligning the flange bolt hole. When using this kind of flange, the material of the pipe joint must be consistent with that of the pipe, but the material of the flange may not be consistent with that of the pipe. This kind of flange is more expensive than the flat welding flange with the same pipe diameter and pressure temperature grade because it is used together with the flanging joint. For particularly expensive pipes, it can sometimes achieve economic goals because flanges with different materials and cheap materials can be used. Its internal pressure bearing performance is the same as that of flat welding flange, but worse than that of butt welding flange. Its fatigue life is only 10% of that of butt welding flange, and it cannot be used under alternating stress.
