Product Introduction
The sealing surface forms of the neck butt welding flange include:
RF, FM, M, T, G, FF.
Advantage:
The connection is not easy to deform, the sealing effect is good, and it is widely used. It is suitable for pipelines with large fluctuations in temperature or pressure, high temperature, high pressure and low temperature, and also for pipelines transporting expensive media, flammable and explosive media, and toxic gases.
Disadvantages:
The neck butt-welding flange is bulky, bulky, expensive, and difficult to install and locate, so it is easier to bump during transportation.
There are two standard systems for the neck butt welding flange in China: one is the European system, and the other is the American system. The maximum pressure resistance of the neck butt-welding flange in the European system is 25Mpa, and the maximum pressure resistance in the American system is 42Mpa.
Butt-welding flange is also called high neck flange. It is different from flat welding flange in that there is a long and inclined high neck from the welding point of flange and pipe to the flange plate. The wall thickness of this section of high neck gradually transits to the pipe wall thickness along the height direction, which improves the discontinuity of stress and thus increases the flange strength.
Butt-welding flanges are mainly used in situations where the working conditions are relatively harsh, such as situations where the stress at the flange is large or the stress changes repeatedly due to the thermal expansion of the pipeline or other loads, pipelines with large fluctuations in pressure and temperature, or pipelines with high temperature, high pressure and low temperature below zero. Butt-welding flange is not easy to deform, has good sealing, and is widely used. The nominal pressure is PN1.0MPa~PN25.0MPa.
