Product Introduction
AWWA C207-07 refers to the American standard for steel pipe flanges for water supply engineering
There are three types of flanges: Ring, Hub and Blind. Namely, plate flat welding flange, neck flat welding flange and blind flange.
Ring refers to the flat flange, Hub and neck slip-on flange with similar shape, and Blind refers to the flange cover. Customers generally order Ring and Blind. Hub is rarely encountered.
The pressure of flange is divided into four types: CLASS B, D, E and F, which refer to the pressure of flange 86psi, 175-150psi, 275psi and 300psi. Common pressures are ClassD and ClassE
This kind of flange has no sealing surface and belongs to FF full plane. The flange surface is turned into concentric round thread waterline. The material of flange is generally A105
Specifications range from 4 "- 144". It is the largest flange standard in the American standard flange standard.
Scope of application
Because of its good comprehensive performance, plate type flat welding flange is widely used in chemical engineering, construction, water supply, drainage, petroleum, light and heavy industry, refrigeration, sanitation, water heating, fire protection, electric power, aerospace, shipbuilding and other basic projects.
However, due to its poor rigidity, it should not be used in chemical process piping systems with requirements of supply and demand, flammability, explosiveness and high vacuum, and in highly and extremely hazardous situations.
